Calling for Paper for students of School of Economics, Shanghai University

At the beginning of 2020, we suffered from COVID-19 throughout the whole world. At present, all the countries are fighting against COVID-19 together. As a student of Shanghai University, we should demonstrate the mission and responsibility of “Constantly striving to become stronger” and “being concern about the human and development of world economy”.

Now, the School of Economics, Shanghai University is calling forEvery Studentto write a research paper to reflect your consideration on trend of world economic development during the period of so-called “Overcoming COVID-19”. Students can record story of the anti-epidemic disease of yourselves or people around you, and you can also praises of advanced characters; Investigation and research can be conducted on the difficult and hot-spot in the prevention and control of the previous epidemic situation and various mid-term and long-term issues, and conduct in-depth scientific analysis or provide measures and suggestions. You can also theoretically think about relevant issues related to epidemic prevention and control, and propose strategic measures.

1. Specific requirements:

1) Strictly abide by the academic rules, seek truth from facts. It’s should be original work and cannot infringe the copyrights of others. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and the writers are responsible for their own results.

2) The topic is self-made and the theme revolves around “Overcoming COVID-19”.

3) Form of achievement:

case studies, research reports or academic research papers, etc.

4) Format and word count:

Please submit your results in an electronic version of the word format, including the title with abstract (300 words), 3-5 keywords, text, and references.

Font format reference: The headline is suggested to be Arial 3 font, and the abstract, keywords, text, etc. are suggested to be Arial small 4 font with 1.5 line spacing. The text of undergraduate course results should be no less than 5,000 words, and the text of graduate students should be no less than 10,000 words. The format of the document and the subject of the email are both "Overcoming COVID-19" essay (thesis title-name-subject-major-academic level-grade).

2. Academic Assessment and Awards

Academic assessment:

1) Undergraduates’ works can be used for the recognition of credits for innovation and entrepreneurship practice, whether are awarded or not, on the premise that students meet the basic requirements such as duplicate check and academic paper writing.

2) Graduate students can obtain three academic chapters, regardless of whether they are awarded or not, on the premise of complying with basic standards such as duplicate check.

Awards:

Excellent works will be recommended to participate in Essay Competition in Shanghai University connected with the second academic annual meeting of the School of Economics. According to the evaluation criteria, the conference will set up special awards including first prize, second prize, third prize and winning prize. Winners will be awarded award certificates and received corresponding research scholarships.

Publication:

Outstanding paper will be collected and edited to publish a book.

3. Notice

1) The results of this practice are subject to a unified review and are not classified according to academic level;

2) Before submitting, you need to complete the duplicate check of the research results. The college will conduct professional duplicate checks on all works before organizing the review. Once papers incompatible with regulation are found, the scores and qualifications for participating will be canceled immediately.
